Yes, within limits. Grok Bot runs a free tier with paid plans above it.

Overview
Grok Bot is not Grok chat and it is not Grok Build. xAI's August 11, 2026 announcement describes it as a team of always-on agents with their own computer. They sign into the tools you already use, work across apps and inboxes, finish jobs end to end, and only come back when something needs approval. The product page line is "a new kind of colleague."
Access is the first fact that matters. Early beta is for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Premium Teams on desktop and iOS. Enterprise users join a waitlist. There is no free tier on the announcement or the product page. Prices published on x.ai/bot: Cursor Ultra $200/month, SuperGrok Heavy $300/month, Cursor Premium Teams $120/seat/month. The macOS build listed on the news post is Grok_Bot_0.18.0.dmg, served from downloads.cursor.com.
Inside SpaceXAI the examples are concrete: a sales bot updating CRM from call notes and drafting follow-ups, an ops bot seating new hires and processing invoices from Gmail, an engineering bot reproducing a UI bug and handing the fix to another bot. Bots can run in parallel, message each other, and sit in a group chat. You can also show a bot a workflow once and have it save a routine.
This is a paid teammate product aimed at people already spending $200–$300 a month on Cursor or SuperGrok. Treat the internal quotes on the launch page as vendor testimonials, not independent reviews. Confirm current plan names and prices on x.ai/bot and cursor.com before you buy.

Is Grok Bot worth it?
Worth it for Teams already on SuperGrok Heavy or top Cursor plans who want an always-on agent that works inside existing apps.
You can test that on the free tier before paying anything. The recorded trade-offs are listed below, and any one of them can settle the question on its own.
The 8.1/10 AI Score is an editorial read of published capability, price and shipping pace. Nobody here has hands-on hours with Grok Bot. How we verify.
Worth it if
The strengths recorded against this entry.
- Persistent cloud computer so work continues after you close the laptop
- Can operate in apps that have no API, according to the vendor
- Multi-bot coordination and group chat are first-class in the launch write-up
- Ships on desktop and iOS with a shared thread
Not worth it if
Any one of these blocks your use case.
- No free tier; gated to SuperGrok Heavy and top Cursor plans
- Early beta as of August 11, 2026 — no published SLA or independent evals
- Enterprise is waitlist-only
- Internal SpaceXAI stories on the launch page are not third-party proof
What sets Grok Bot apart
- Each bot has its own cloud computer and keeps working after you close the laptop
- Access is SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, or Cursor Premium Teams — not grok.com free or SuperGrok
- Multi-bot group chat and learn-by-demonstration routines are first-class
- Not Grok chat and not the Grok Build CLI
Key features
A computer of its own
Each bot shares a cloud computer so jobs do not stall when you step away. xAI says they can sign in and work across apps, tools, and websites, including platforms with no clean API or MCP.
Message it like a teammate
Desktop and iOS share the same thread. The launch post contrasts this with tools that ask you to build workflows first: you message a bot to take on a task.
Many bots at once
Internal write-up describes a chief-of-staff bot over specialists for inbox, expenses, recruiting, bugs, or operations. Bots can message each other, share context, and sit in a group chat.
Learn-by-demonstration routines
Ask a bot to follow along the next time you do a job. It watches the steps, saves a routine, takes corrections, and runs it next time.
